Algalia – Video Trunk

Fullscreen version

This muddy “old” video is a mix of:

A very personal/biographic collection of stills taken in Czech Republic, Spain and Portugal between 2006 and 2007

Plus a tweaked version of Gertrude Stein’s Family Living can go on existing a text extracted from her The Making of Americans book together with a shakuhachi flute (unfortunately can’t remember neither song or performer’s name) as SOUNDTRACK

And still my own poem Algalia all mixed up directly in Quicktime

Now in the present, in real life, ja ja ja, sometimes things don’t work as expected… maybe, yes I’m talking to myself again, we have to expect less and do better… more heartfelt. Music goes on, we cannot stop it, we are the music, the hearing itself, we are the flow. But Mr K. said it much better:

The brain is the centre of all the senses; the more the senses are alert and sensitive the sharper the brain is; it’s the centre of remembrance, the past; it’s the storehouse of experience and knowledge, tradition. So it’s limited, conditioned. Its activities are planned, thought out, reasoned, but it functions in limitation, in space-time. So it cannot formulate or understand that which is the total, the whole, the complete. The complete, the whole is the mind; it is empty, totally empty and because of this emptiness, the brain exists in space-time. Only when the brain has cleansed itself of its conditioning, greed, envy, ambition, then only it can comprehend that which is complete. Love is this completeness
